Singing Scout provides branding, web development, and content management services. Clients include:

My role is to take clients’ projects through the following process, in full or in part:

  • Reviewing and refining their branding, so they can:
    • Look awesome.
    • Show consistency in their message.
    • Build trust with fans, followers, and customers.
  • Building and/or updating their website, so they can:
    • Get access to my suite of marketing tools.
    • Get rock-solid, fast, secure WordPress hosting.
    • Get layouts that turn browsers into buyers, and visitors into fans.
  • Developing and implementing a strategy for their content, so they can:
    • Write words that make people take action.
    • Create a story with their organization.
    • Develop a visual language that’s consistent on their site, in email, and on social media.

For this, I use Adobe CS design programs, project management software, and web development tools.

Adamleerosenfeld.com

Blogger, Speaker, Podcaster (8/2014 – 5/2017)

Adamleerosenfeld.com is my blog, where I teach productivity to young adults.

My role is to create content by writing 1-3 articles per week, either on the subject of leadership or productivity. This involves writing, researching, and editing content. I also design the appearance of the article itself and maintain the website. Once a post goes up, I distribute it through social media and by a dedicated email newsletter. I also use strategic partnerships to feature the content on other platforms. I have had content featured in the past on the Made in JLM blog (a blog about startups, innovation, and tech from Jerusalem), and on the popular tech blog Signal v. Noise.

I December 2016, I launched a life strategy online course called HighRoad. I created a product launch strategy for this that included a series of video teachings, social media ads, landing pages, emails, an email automation sequence, adaptive content, and webinars.

In 2015 I produced two podcasts:

  • HighRoad (a leadership podcast – this later became an online life strategy course.)
  • Optimized & Primed (a productivity podcast created in affiliation with China-based productivity startup Saent.)

Reach Israelis.

Reach Israelis is a Hebrew translation agency providing translation, typesetting, and content management services.

My roles include:

Produced a weekly radio show that presented bible teachings along with music.

Succat Hallel

Staff Member (1/2008 – 3/2014)

Succat Hallel is a non-profit organization based in Jerusalem, Israel. I joined Succat Hallel staff as a musician in 2008. This position involved a number of additional administrative and project-specific roles:

  • I designed and developed three websites. These sites included music downloads and accompanying resources, event registration, and volunteer application forms.
  • In addition to those websites, I managed the project for the redesign and development of Succat Hallel’s main site in 2013.
  • I implemented several management and administrative practices, using project management and CRM software. This was done for a team of 30 people.
  • I designed and oversaw print production for print materials for events and fundraising.
  • As a musician, I took part in the production of two recordings as a guitar and bass guitar player.

These roles were filled while regularly serving and teaching in the non-profit organization’s center. I also wrote articles in the context of my service in a personal blog. One of  these articles dealt with the Gaza offensive in the summer of 2014, and was featured on the Israel Today website.

I worked with Adam on an ambitious recording project as a contributing musician and have also participated in an array of events that he organized and promoted from the ground up. I have observed and experienced Adam’s processes artistically and administratively in using conceptual thinking and responsive management style to develop and execute his projects with creative excellence. – Peter Kusek, Professor of New Media at UNC Asheville

Caleb Company

Property Manager (10/2012 – 7/2013)

Caleb Company is a US-based non-profit organization that rents a property in Jerusalem. My role was to manage that property, which included:

  • Coordinate the arrivals and departures of visitors.
  • Dealing with vendors.

I did this using a combination of project management and CRM software. This provided Caleb Company staff in the US with real-time information about the status of the property.

Men of Israel Records & Distribution

Owner (4/2002 – 3/2010)

Men of Israel (MOI) was a record label and music distribution business that I ran from 2002-2010. It’s goal was to be the leading brand for independent music in Israel, with an emphasis on values-based culture.

MOI was the exclusive Israeli representative of US-based SC Distribution, with a catalog of over 16 record labels. This included artists like Sufjan Stevens (Metacritic Album of the Year 2005), Okkervil River, and Great Lake Swimmers.

My role included:

  • Catalog management.
  • Sales.
  • Logistics.
  • Public relations.
  • Event production.

In 2006, I opened an office in the Klal building in downtown Jerusalem, followed by a retail store in 2007.

In 2007, MOI produced an event with international recording artist Bonnie “Prince” Billy. It was hosted in the Pavilion theater in Jerusalem.

In 2009, MOI launched a website dedicated to digital music distribution.

Israel Today

Online Marketing (5/2007 – 12/2007)

Israel Today is a Jerusalem-based international news publication. It also manages an online store that sells products from Israel.

My role was to manage that store online, and to manage the catalog. This included:

  • Dealing with suppliers.
  • Creating sale offers.
  • Designing promotional materials.
  • Reporting sales metrics.

In addition to my online store responsibilities, I also provided general marketing strategy for the “Israel Today” brand.

Jerusalem Street Productions

Manager (2001 – 2005)

Jerusalem Street Productions (formerly Jerusalem Artists, Musicians, and Media – JAMM) was a non-profit providing outreach to underprivileged youth, via media productions and a dedicated coffeehouse.

My role was management of the coffeehouse, which included:

  • Maintenance.
  • Event production.
  • Public relations.
  • Team management.

I also contributed in media production via:

  • Scriptwriting.
  • Directing video segments.
  • Graphic design.

Combatant and Camouflage Instructor (3/1996 – 3/1999)

Served in the IDF – received training in the Golani brigade, and later on served as a camouflage instructor in the School for Counter-Guerilla Warfare.

Served in the Second Lebanon War in 2006 as a reservist.
