I’m Adam. I make loud indie rock from Jerusalem, Israel – with one beat-up classical guitar.
I’ve been making music for 25 years. I played in a few bands. Namely The Pit That Became a Tower, My Name is Nobody, and Mutant John. I also ran a record label and distribution called Men of Israel Records.
In 2010 I started working on a new album. But then I got sick and lost most of my hearing. It was a viral attack on the nerves of my inner ears. The album got put on hold.
In the years since then, I never gave up on music. I kept writing songs, I kept playing guitar.
And in 2017, something clicked. The tools available to broadcast online met with my ability to write songs and bang them out on a classical guitar. So I started playing my songs live on Facebook. It’s been a blast. The feedback has been great.
You can check me out Mondays and Thursdays, 5:30pm Israel time, 10:30am Eastern US time.
But it doesn’t stop there.
It’s fun to bang out my songs on a guitar, but the songs I write are intended for a 6-piece band. That means lots of work in the studio, lots of practice, and lots of gear and people onstage. It means time and money.
My goal is to have a full-length album completed by the end of this year. To do this, I need the help of people who love my art and want to share it with others.
If that’s you, then you’re in the right place.
My music project is called Har Adonai. It means “Mountain of the Lord”. It’s a reference to the fact that I live and make music right across the valley from Mount Zion in Jerusalem. It’s also a reference to holiness. Which is something that’s important to me and something I think is misunderstood today.
Now you can support me on Patreon. For as much as $1 per month, you can help keep Har Adonai going. Your support goes to everything from web hosting and guitar strings, to getting that full-length album recorded.
The Next Step
My next goal is to get a basic studio setup in my home. For this, I need help with:
- Guitar cables.
- Gear setup and maintenance.
- Soundproofing for the walls.
- Etc.
You can help me meet this goal by reaching $500 in pledges.
Please take a moment and support my music. Click here to make a pledge on Patreon.
Thanks. You rock.
